About Liom
Liom is a Swiss health-tech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the field of personalized health monitoring. Our objective is to develop the first health wearable monitoring glucose non-invasively. We will launch our wearable as a consumer product in the United States and Europe in 2028. Our team consists of over 35 staff, with deep expertise in product development, and the required engineering as well as scientific disciplines. We are operating out of our lab facilities in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland.
Your mission
Own the full finance function, plus selected corporate governance and legal topics:
- Financial planning & analysis: ensure that the financial plan and business plan are aligned with the company strategy, roadmap, and fundraising plan
- Financial audit and filings: ensure timely audits, tax filings, and compliance with other statutory requirements in Switzerland and the US
- Fundraising support: manage the data room
- Corporate governance: ensure smooth execution of governance matters and related filings in Switzerland and the US
- Processes and tools: establish lean, effective, and scalable finance, procurement and related legal processes and tools across the organization
Your profile
- 7+ years of experience in corporate finance, ideally as a finance lead in a start-up or scale-up
- Very hands-on and comfortable taking full ownership and running the function independently
- Financial planning & analysis: strong hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and financial reporting
- Financial audit and filings: proven experience coordinating audits and tax filings in collaboration with external accountants
- Fundraising support: experience preparing investor materials and/or managing a data room
- Corporate governance: solid experience with corporate governance topics, including board processes, shareholder matters such as annual and extraordinary general meetings and capital increases, and related filings
- Processes and tools: proven experience building or running operational processes and tools across areas such as finance, procurement, expenses, credit cards and legal
- Experience managing equity or phantom stock option plans is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus
- Available to start as soon as possible
